Happy days

To much queuing meal times Ie for tea coffee juice eggs etc Quests experienced bed bug problems me & partner suffered lower leg bites never been bitten before in 40 years of traveling !

Rio Park

This was the first time that we had used one of the newly decorated rooms and my opinion is that they are not worth paying the extra for. The shower is very slippy and we had to buy something to stand on to prevent a fall. We have two more visits to this hotel booked and we will stay in the normal rooms

Good Value Hotel

Stayed over for 2 nights in late Oct. The hotel rooms need a furniture update and re-decoration. The Staff were attentive and efficient. Entertainment was second to none. Food was pretty good. Breakfast was excellent. Bar prices were very reasonable. Overall not a bad place at all.

Hugely Disappointed

The reason behind my disappointment are as follows, 1. On arrival reception insisted we had booked a superior room only and sent us to a room which did not have the club superior extras at all, of which we had booked and paid for. It was my wifes birthday and this was the reason for booking this room what a major let down. 2. With regards to hygiene our room was not cleaned to a proper standard day by day and the beds were unchanged, the bathroom sink and shower area was not cleaned to a proper standard, also having numerous amount of cats running around the complex urinating and fighting with each other which can keep you awake is disgusting and pigeon droppings all over the outside of the glass elevators which were never cleaned also disgusting the time has come to get rid of this cats and pigeons. 3. Attitude of staff a. Reception staff, especially girl with English accent who had no name tag on, b. bar staff need retraining in customer service as they are quite rude. 4. Food selection in the hotel is certainly not up to the standard of your sister hotel the flamingo oasis. The selection is very poor and there was very little fresh fruit on offer. All in all our stay at the Rio Park was not a good experience and we did not get the club superior package we paid for. We would hope that you would come back to us with a favourable reply.

Would definitely recommend this hotel

We were given a free room upgrade which was to an amazing room.Hotel is very clean, plenty of beds by the pool and lovely breakfast.Staff very helpful and friendly.Would definitely recommend this hotel.

5th visit

The food was the best it has been our 5th visit The new superior rooms are excellent Would have liked clear glass on balcony though ! Did not stay in hotel for entertainment, so cannot comment on animation

Excellent stay and hotel

4 friends aged mid 40s stayed September. Hotel about 10 minutes from main strip of bars but bars etc all around. Food nice. Rooms very clean. Good value food and drink in hotel.

Good hotel gone down hill

We checked into Rio Park on Sunday 24th sept, when we booked we requested a low floor and also emailed before hand to ensure we had a low floor. On arrival we were given the 8th floor when i explain to reception i needed a low floor due to my wife being disabled and in a wheel chair they said there was nothing they could do and come back tomorrow an explained that use had a outdoor lift so thats not a problem of my wife is claustrophobic, not true suffering from claustrophobia is the same even its in a glass lift. When we went back the next morning we were told once again no low floors all they could give us was the 11th or 10th so best staying were we were on the 8th and to try back again tomorrow. We have stayed in this hotel over 15 times and never had a problem but this visit was terrible. My wife is in wheelchair and the ramp to get to the pool is to steep and very difficult to get up and down. We felt the food has gone down hill and also alot of staff had very bad attitudes. Down in the restaurant were you wash your hands my 3 year old grandson put his hand on the sink to reach the soap and the metal sink fell on the floor an just missed him by inches and all the staff could do was tut as if he had been swinging off it. Like i said before i have stayed in your hotel many times but i will not be staying again. We were due to check out this sunday the 1st but we have cut our holiday short and came home early. Its a shame that a good hotel has gone down hill.
